Like most people, I enjoy delivering good news. I'm not such a fan of delivering 'other' news. But, that's the way life is. The road to any place desireable will always have a bump or two in it that we must navigate.
Such is the case for my friend, LaShunda Rundles. She's been in the hospital for quite a while in very serious condition. The last couple of weeks have seen some improvement in her condition and signs of hope that she can recover. Today, however, I received the following in an e-mail from her:
Things have taken a negative turn. I am staying hopeful but I want to be all prayed up just in case. i have been running a fever and the hole has opened wider. Right now I am too weak and sick to risk another surgery so I just have to wait. I am very down right now so please pray for me to stay in good spirits. I love you all and I am proud to call you guys friend.
